MENTALLY CHALLENGED
WOMEN AND CHILDREN
PROGRAM: In the developing
countries because of lack of
education the mentally
challenged are often unable
to receive proper medical
attention and treatment. Love
and Care Mission is supporting
two programs where excellent
care is given to the needy.
Adaikalapuram- The diocese
of Tuticorin in South India has
a home for mentally
challenged women. Love and
Care Mission supports this
project.

COIMBATORE - "Sneham", an
organization run by a young
couple who are trained
professionals to take care of
the mentally challenged
children is being supported by
Love and Care Mission. LCM
supports this organization in
caring for these children in
their day care center.

CHINGLEPUT - Apostolic Carmelite Sisters are running a home
for the mentally challenged children in the suburbs of
Chingleput area. The Bishop of Chingleput introduced them
to Love and Care Mission. The sisters are doing a fabulous
work and their ministry among these children in the rural area
is very crucial. They are taking care of 70 children in their
home. LCM has been supporting these children in their food
and education needs.
